There are many ways to heal the body, mind, and heart.
Some of our treatments may be new to you. Others may be more powerful than you realized. Our practitioners bring extensive education and experience, creating results that surpass clients’ expectations.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) for treating a vast range of health issues, including pain, digestive disturbances, migraines, asthma, arthritis, and sciatica—to name a few. Acupuncture needles are 1/10th the diameter of a hypodermic needle and do not hurt when inserted.
Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®
Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® uses the power of neuroplasticity to map or remap movements that have been lost or not yet acquired. This can result in greater freedom and ease, mental and emotional clarity, and a sense of peace, wellbeing, and connectedness. It is ideal for all ages and experiences, from infants and children with disabilities to individuals for whom high-performance is central to their identity and livelihood.
Facial Rejuvenation
Facial rejuvenation includes a collection of natural and holistic modalities that enhance and repair the skin, namely cosmetic acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, lymphatic massage, and microneedling (epidermal collagen induction therapy). Treatments can help with circulation, flushing out bacteria, stimulating repair, releasing muscle tension, and reducing fine lines and acne scars.
Feldenkrais® Method
The Feldenkrais® Method is a unique approach to movement therapy developed by Moshe Feldenkrais in the mid-20th century. Gentle movements and increased body awareness draw attention to your body’s established movement patterns. By exploring and integrating alternative movement patterns, you benefit from your nervous system’s neuroplastic capacity to reshape your mind-body connection.
Massage Therapy
Registered massage therapy is quite different to a spa service. While at times equally relaxing, it is a therapeutic practice used to assess and treat a wide range of health conditions. Many medical physicians refer their patients to a registered massage therapist to help with acute and chronic conditions, the full spectrum of physical discomfort, pre- and post-operative care, and more.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy uses a range of techniques to support the healing of chronic and acute physical injuries and brings long-term improvements to your physical function in daily life, favourite activities, and sports performance. Treatment modalities include joint manipulation, dry needling, exercise prescription and more.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is practiced globally as a truly holistic and individualized form of healing, with a focus on balance and prevention. TCM treatment modalities vary depending on the situation, and may include acupuncture, electro stimulation, cupping, gua sha, tuina, ear seeds, diet/exercise/lifestyle modifications, and herbal formulas (the vast majority of which are vegetarian or vegan).
What Else?
We want your ideas. Is there another type of treatment you would like to see at Klinik? How about a podiatrist? Do you know of any that you would recommend? Or are you a practitioner yourself, curious about what it would be like to work here? We would love to hear from you.
