Olivia is a certified practitioner of the Feldenkrais® Method of somatic education, and, more specifically, is certified in its one-on-one therapeutic modality known as Functional Integration®. Olivia finds great joy in helping others move out of pain and unlock the restorative potential within themselves. As she supports clients through this gentle, hands-on movement modality, her approach emphasizes curiosity and self-empowerment as pathways to healing.
Olivia’s journey with the Feldenkrais® Method began in 2017 as a way to deepen her personal movement and teaching practices. With 16 years of professional experience as a dance artist and long-standing mentorships with embodied movement experts, Olivia’s work as a Feldenkrais® practitioner is enriched by her extensive background in performance and somatic movement practices.
Olivia believes that everyone, regardless of age or health concerns, can improve their quality of life by learning new and better ways to move and feel. She is passionate about sharing Feldenkrais® strategies due to their effectiveness at increasing resilience and supporting self-development.
When she’s not at Klinik, Olivia is the Associate Artistic Director and a company dancer at EDAM in Vancouver, as well as a teacher of dance and embodied movement to professionals and non-professionals alike.
