She holds the advanced designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), which is a reflection of her extensive training and experience.
Teryn takes a personalized and evidence-informed approach to patient care, and prioritizes active collaboration with both patients and other healthcare providers. Her focused one-on-one treatments combine manual therapy, dry needling, and specific exercises to efficiently and effectively solve problems. Her approach is tailored to your unique recovery journey, with a comprehensive assessment that looks at your body as an integrated system.
Teryn is committed to understanding not just your local symptoms, but the broader movement patterns and compensation strategies that might contribute to your condition. Where possible, she aims to suggest small, manageable changes you can easily integrate into your daily routine, making your rehabilitation process as seamless and low-stress as possible.
In addition to her clinical work, Teryn serves as an Adjunct Professor at UBC and has also worked at the University of Queensland, contributing to the education of future physiotherapists.
Teryn also leads an active personal life with experience across a wide variety of sports, including playing varsity field hockey in university. She now spends most of her free time in the mountains hiking/biking/skiing or dancing. She loves travelling and learning about new and different cultures.
